AVO 80th

Anyone ever had the AVO 80th? I was at my local B&M, which I visit quite often and sometimes am subject to special treatment. I bought the AVO 80th and was given a Zino Platinum Scepter series free of charge, which isn't bad considering the price of those things.

Anyway, the AVO didn't start off so well, but after about the first inch, I thought it had a great, sweet flavor, it was hard to explain. It also, smelled fantastic. Does anyone else have an opinion about this cigar?

This has become a great cigar. When it was first released it was very grassy and bland but is now turning into a great cigar. It has a bit more spice towards the end then most of the other AVO lines. I have been enjoying these in the mornings when I have a fresh and clean pallet.
But as always the best opinion of a cigar is your own!!

I'm a big fan of Avo, and I think the 80th is a wonderful cigar. I agree with Joel that it has gotten better with age. I've smoked quite a few since their release and they really seem to mellow with time.

Yeah, I really liked it, and to get a Zino Platinum for free, I couldn't pass it up.

I'm not a big AVO fan but I did have an 80 and it was by far the best AVO I had have at the time, was a very good smoke. Since than they have came out with the AVO 787 I think thats it, and it is even better, a little more flavor.

I recommend 'em FoZzMan. Amongst my fav's are the 80th, 787, LE 07, and XO. The only one that didn't really trip my trigger is the Domaine.

Avo 80th cigar is a wonderful smoke after aging for a little while. I purchased a few boxes when they first came out and have found out that after about 9 months they are supreme!

I really like the 787. I was smoking it at my local and someone buying pipe tobacco commented that it was a great smelling cigar. I think he wanted a puff.
