i bid and won an auction on some ousters the day previous and then kicked myself when finding this one. but i needed to pass it on to someone with a bigger humi. especially with them being out of the box, those are going to go for super cheap. i wouldn't know what to do with 10 fans anyway. i think you could use them. you're humi is a tank speedy!

how well do they really work?, I bought one and after seeing how fast the blades turn, I didnt thing that it would make much of a diff. Plus ther kinda bulky, I took it apart and thought that work much better, but the blade speed is what gets me.

I have two in my ice chest. They work great.

You don't need to move a lot of air just enough to turn things around a little.

While my Fridgedor is temp full, I'm looking to make a Coolidor as well, so I figure I'm gonna need at least 3-4 of them...the rest I will find folks for I"m sure...

Then again, I might not get them at that price...*laugh*. We'll see, it's almost a week away before end of the auction

Yeah, the bulkiness is what I don't like about them. I've got 6 in my fridgador. They definitely take up some real estate. The other issue is that with my fridge stuffed with cigar boxes, I don't know how effectively the oust fans are moving air around.

I bought a case of them on ebay (6 to a case). I decided not to waste em. <Edit> Plus as Joe suggested, I don't think one moves too much air.

We need someone with some skills/tools to manufacture a normal-sized replacement casing for the damn things - they could easily be HALF that size!
