So if one gets a bomb/pass/trade whatever, and the sticks come in a plastic bag, each stick separated by a divider (or each in their section of the bag) is it ok to leave the sticks in the plastic bag in a coolerdor? or should they be taken out and placed in the humi. i know keeping them in the celo is fine, was wondering if ziplock is the same.

second, when you have a lot of single sticks in a humi, does it matter? will flavors blend?

To my knowledge, it is o.k. to leave the sticks in baggies in the coolerdor. I've nerver had a problem intergrading different smokes. Never have altered the flavors. Anybody else?

You'll be fine, just put them in the humi. Flavor mixing doesn't really happen, unless maybe your aging for a LONG time. And then they'd need to be touching with no cello.

I have a couple of tupperdors full of cigars in baggies (open) and have run into no problems. Lately I have been running out of humidor space, so I take cigars from half-empty boxes and bag them up to take less space. Again, I leave the bags open. I free up a little room, but it doesn't last very long. Then again... that is whole different story.

I am not ashamed to say that I have never noticed a blending of flavors due to aging and open sticks in my humidor.
