Oh man, I've been glued to the tv. Aside from the rain yesterday, it looks absolutely glorious down there. This afternoon will be exciting for sure.

What a day.

Got up at 5:30. Hit the gate around 6:30. One of the first few hundred in. Waited another 15 minutes till they cleared the ropes to let us on the course.

Plunked our chairs about 25 feet from the Sat pin on 18 and headed to Amen corner.

Bought 2 more chairs and set up between 11 green and 12 tee. Smoked the Cabinetta and had a pimento cheese sandwich. Watched till the last group went by. Fired up a QDO Imperial along the way. Once the last group went by headed back to 18. Saw the final 12 groups come in 18 and smoked a 82 Monte 2.

Lunch.. Ham and Cheese, Club, M&M's, Payday and a lemonade... $ 7.00.

Walked 1,2,3,4 with some of the first groups. Sat on 5 for a while. Smoked an Anejo after lunch through 5.

Went back to Amen corner. It got pretty hot around 1:00. Walked over to 14 fareway sat under a tree. NO one was within 100 yards of us. Smoked a 98 Sir Winston and ate some ice cream.

Back to Amen. Had a very nice NC Sam got .. a 10 year Vintage Upmann. Then lit up a PSD1.. pretty darn good.

Last group through.. we headed back to 18. Perfect seats, perfect day. Finished up the day with a Hemigway Materpiece. Just got back after a good dinner at one of the local steak houses.

Dead. Have to get up at 5:30 and drive to Atlanta to catch our flight. Need to get home, Janes last radiation treatment is tomorrow and looking forward to life without daily hosital trips.

Musta been awesome to see the action today in person, what with so many in contention until the last few holes. Have a safe trip back.
