Ronson Jet Lite--So Far So Good

I heard about this little refillable lighter on ************.com, I think. So, anyway, it just has a single jet. It is shaped like a traditional lighter: zippo or similar. But it is a refillable jet lighter with the piezo starter. It was only about $5 at the local drug store. The workmanship is not "top-shelf" but it does the job.

So far, I have probably sparked it up about 50 times, to test the reliability, and not once has it failed to spark up. I have yet to test it in high wind. For $5, I think it is a good deal.

I almost forgot to mention, the flame is easy to adjust. I can adjust it with my fingernail.

Got these at the local Walmart for 2 and some change. Have a habit of losing things so these are stashed all over the place. Great lighter for the price, never had a issue with firing up.

I wish I could find them around me, but they're nowhere to be found. Cool that it's still working well

I also picked up a couple at Walmart for around 3 bucks. Seem to be well worth the price.

I've got a couple coming my way thanks to a fellow BOTL. I had one, but lost it. I always use cheap lighters though. I can't justify the cost of the expensive lighters.

It's my go to lighter. I've had one for almost a year now with no problems. Just make sure to bleed it out before you refill and don't use Ronson fuel.

The JetLite is an awesome lighter. And for $5, you can't beat it. I purchased four of them from the Ronson online store about a month ago. I gave one to a buddy and I have been using one as the lighter I take with me every where. Same results - sparks up great all the time. The only problem I had with mine was when using the Ronson fuel that came with it - it didn't want to stay lit. I typically use Vector Premium Refined and it is the best fuel in my opinion.

I have been using mine for over a year now too and I have yet to have any problems with it. Best 3 bucks I ever spent. If you go to your local Wallmart they carrie them at the tobacco check out line next to the batteries and other impulse purchase crap. Pick one up you wont regret it!!!

I looked for these about a week ago; They were not there--at CVS. But two days ago, I looked again, and it was hanging behind the cashiers counter, at the same CVS.

$12 bucks here in Canada. Bought one a couple of weeks ago and its a hell of alot better than a Bic. have not filled it yet. What's the problem with Ronson fuel? Also how to bleed the lighter? Is that like open the lid, point it down and push the button?
Cheers
Clive

If anyone would like one, shoot me a PM, and I can get one out to ya. I had someone send me 3 of em... I'd like to keep one as a backup to the one thats currently in my pocket, but I would gladly give a BOTL one of these if they can't find em. I have only lit a few smokes with my ronson, but I love it so far.
