Olor line of Cigars

I am sure there is some info somewhere on here, but, didnt know where to look so bear with me! I have been interested in this line for sometime, but have no clue as to how good/bad/indifferent it might be. My local B&M's dont carry it, so couldnt pick up a stick or two. Any info would be greatly appreciated....!
Best,
Chuck/ylo2na

Saw them in the Famous Smokes catalog. Great question as I have been wondering myself.

I had an Olor Furte when I first started smoking and I thought it was a descent smoke. Nice earthy tones with a hint of cedar as far as I could remember.

I bought one the Humi's famous had on special for $28 with the Olor logo. Not bad for a 75 ct. Great quality too. They threw in a 3 pack of Olor's. I tried one and it was pretty good.

The Olor Fuerte line is not bad for the price. The belicoso or the churchill are decent sticks. Nice dark wrapper, good draw, decent burn w/white ash. You get some spice without getting your ass kicked! If you can pick up a box cheap, it's worth the investment. I picked up a box of churchills for $69 a while ago. Still have some left.

I've smoked about a fiver of the Olor Fuerte belicoso. A well done stick that burns decently and tastes GREAT albeit one dimensional. A great stick to acquire if you get them for 3-4 dollars per. I have one in my humi that has to be almost 3 years old now, I'm going to have to light that up soon!

Olor is a proprietary brand of Famous Smoke Shop. The only ones I have tried are a couple freebie Olor Nicaraguas. An ok cigar, but nothing special. Nothing like an Oliva, or some of the boutique Nicaraguans so popular right now.

Hey Greg,
Sorry about not smoking the Olor yet, but am off to do that this morning and will let you know. Based upon your recommendation, I went ahead and bought two boxes of the smoke for a fairly good price on Famous...buy one, get one free for $90.
Will let you know soon, though, whether I made a mistake in my purchase, but, I rather doubt it!
Best,
Chuck/ylo2na
