Always nice to hear from another botb/botl.

Toronto PD is experiencing some really severe budget problems right now. They are cutting back on everything possible. Those poor guys are driving outdated...run down cars....there equipment is as cheap as it gets. It wasn't always like that...I started my career there. In the 80's with no real budget restrictions we had great equipment.

Is "good" your way of saying "freakishly interesting"?

Nothing beats coming home after work and just sitting on the back porch on a nice warm summer day and lighting up one of your favorite sticks with a few fingers of bourbon or scotch ..... hmmmm summer...

I agree they are a stress reliever. If my wife feels that I am all stressed out, she will recomend that I go for a smoke rather than bitching at me for being bitchy.

I concur, they provide an escape from reality and a time to reflect.

We should start another thread. The stress of maintaining RH in your humidor during winter months. I wonder if this stress negates the stress release from smoking. It's a vicious feckin' cycle...
