TNT Alternative Padron Anniv.

Received a bundle of the Especial Maduro today(5-1/2x54). I smoked one right off the truck and was very happy. I agree with Walt's review in that it tasted somewhat like a x000 series Padron. The first half had a little more leather and tobacco taste than a Padron. The second half I got some nice sweet wet hay. The cigar was a little soft and got very soft when it heated up. This didn't cause any burn issues and produced a lot of smoke and a fairly even burn line. I think I might make this my new bundle cigar at $37 shipped for 25($1.48 ea.).

I enjoy these also, as Brian said they are a little spongy but no serious burn issues.

Brian,
I think I have one or two left from the bundle I bought a while back. I'll have to dig it out and give it a try after resting for a while.

The only downside to the company that sells them, at least for me on the east coast, is the 5 day travel time. They are the slowest that I have dealt with so far.

Let us know how they are aged. How long have you had them?

Good shipping from anywhere is one benefit to living in "The Heartland". Mine shipped the same day I ordered and I got them 3 days later. From Phoenix to St. Louis.

I'll trade you some for some of the CigarFO Reserva if you want to try them first.

Will do

From the date on the review I did, I would say a year give or take a week or two.
