TNT Alternative Padron Anniv.
Received a bundle of the Especial Maduro today(5-1/2x54). I smoked one right off the truck and was very happy. I agree with Walt's review in that it tasted somewhat like a x000 series Padron. The first half had a little more leather and tobacco taste than a Padron. The second half I got some nice sweet wet hay. The cigar was a little soft and got very soft when it heated up. This didn't cause any burn issues and produced a lot of smoke and a fairly even burn line. I think I might make this my new bundle cigar at $37 shipped for 25($1.48 ea.).

Brian,
I think I have one or two left from the bundle I bought a while back. I'll have to dig it out and give it a try after resting for a while. The only downside to the company that sells them, at least for me on the east coast, is the 5 day travel time. They are the slowest that I have dealt with so far. |
