Cigar auctions

I recently attended my third cigar auction in London, UK. This time I spent more than I really wanted to. I picked up a box of 1960 Bolivar Corona Gigantes. I also got one hell of a deal on 3 boxes of 1954 Partagas Lusitanias.
Sadly enough I'm not able to bring these items back to the States. I flew with my business client direct to Hong Kong where they will sit in my walk-in humidor in my office and age a bit more. I recently went and this is the 4th box in my collection of vintage rare smokes. Has anyone ever been to any of the cigar auctions put on by Christies or Sotheby's?

while in chicago this past weekend i met a guy who showed me his box of 1944 bolivars.

I drooled, fainted, and crapped my pants all at the same time.

Even a sniff of those cigars would be well beyond my reach! Hope you enjoy each and every one of them - they sound like they're going to be fantastic.

You may be able to sneak one in by mailing it to someone in the states who will greatly appreciate it and smoke it all the way to the nub..............
