Nativetexan is right. Here in MN we get anywhere from 100-200 inches a year. I actually love driving in the snow. But like NativeTexan said, ice is the killer. I have lived here since 98 and have been in school since then and haven't had one snow day. But that is because we have the resources. If I take my Shelby out in the middle of a snowstorm with gatorbacks on it, I don't care how much experience I have in snow (and I have a lot) I'm going to be leaving the car somewhere.

I don't get it when someone says that "people from <fill in the state> don't know how to drive in snow." It seems awfully arrogant to me.

Jeez lighten up Shelby. I was just responding with a good natured rib to the statement that Yankees can't handle bad weather driving better that Texans (as dasterdly a lie as I have ever heard!(that's a joke Shebly))

LOL..............No problem Shelby. This just illustrates the major problem with e-mail; there is no "tone of voice" and that can be confusing. Just for the record, I tend to be a natural jokester (or joker according to my wife) and I love friendly rivalries. So if you see me sending a comment that seems a little edgy about someone's location or a team they root for, it's meant to be funny and to get a rise out of someone at the same time. I don't mean any disrespect. Except to Yankees fans because.....
