I live in North Fort Worth and we got slammed pretty good with snow today. It is almost 11PM and we are hovering at 33 degrees right now. I am hoping that the roads don't ice over by morning.

North Dallas is freezing but still wet. Mostly sleet though, not a whole lot of snow. Everyone here is hoping classes get canceled for tomorrow morning at least, if not the whole day.

took 2-1/2 hrs to drive through from wichita falls to decatur in the middle of the snow blowing in...they kept closing the highways right in front of us: first 287 just north of decatur, then 380 just west of town! by the time we got back to the office in decatur, we had 8" in the yard.

only took an hour to get back to the house in downtown fort worth, though. 35 was well-worked by the time i went through around 430.

this morning, piece of cake. roads were dry all the way out until just before decatur, and then it was only a minor patch...

i do have to say, though, that with everything covered, the views along the backroads were beautiful yesterday!

Funny but thats Texas. This morning on the AM drive to work you would have never known anything happened yesterday. Dry as a bone and 75mph.
