They are fakes and the sheriff is aware. It would be a huge insult to ship them to the troops. God only know what besides crap tobacco, nail clippings, and floor sweepings went into them.

Man, I hope they aren't entirely awful. Of course, I guess there's slim pickings at JR Baghdad so any cigar over there is a good cigar. Hope the troops enjoy them.

I gotta admit, this was my first reaction. I doubt if they're being stored properly in an evidence room. Chances are they will arrive dry and perhaps even eaten up by tobacco beetles. Don't get me wrong, I think it is a very generous gesture, most probably straight from the heart, but Bruce is right.

Just my opinion.
