I lost it all in a fire when I was in my 20's and my apartment burned to the ground with all my belongings. I never really got back in to it after that, Tosing all my stuff in the dumpster was really disheartening. I got a 6 string Siegel acoustic now, but not nearly in to it like I was.
Man I'm sorry to hear that bro. Thats quite a loss.

I've got a few stringed instruments. At the moment, a G& L legacy, Cort Matt Guitar Murphy edition, a nice antique 12 string, a small acoustic, banjo, bass and ukelele! Need to play more though, they are getting dusty lately!

I've been playing for about 9 years and dropped more money than I want to think about on guitars and equipment. Right now im rocking a beautiful White Epiphone Les Paul Custom Electric and Pushing sound through a combo of my Marshall AVT 150 half stack and Peavey
Bandit 112 tuned to produce Aggressive, Bone rattling, hard-hitting Lows, as wells as the softest sweetest little nothings, whenever needed. However I find that there is little better than relaxing on the front porch with an acoustic guitar and a freshly lit cigar.….

A few years back, we bought an 82 Gibson Les Paul Custom with Silverburst finish at an auction. As will happen in auctions, I got carried away and had to have it. It turned out to be way too much guitar for somebody that's not a real guitar player, so I sold it a couple of months later.

I play, acoustic mostly. But my guitar-playing days took a serious downturn when I started producing electronic music

I love playing my acoustic, it's the first guitar I ever bought, a decent little Fender. I loved messing around on my electric, a cheap little Squier '51 that I'm gonna get around to modding one of these days, but I lent it to a friend for the timebeing since I don't have space for my electric and amp up at Berkeley.

I'm saving up though, I want a nice strat so bad. Probably a nice acoustic after that. Not until after graduation though.

I love modding guitars. In fact I love anything about guitars. The only one of my guitars that is not modded is my acoustic only because I haven't decided which new pickup system to put in yet!

Currently, I mostly play a modded Mexi strat that I put Area 61 Dimarzios in the Neck and Bridge and a Fast track double blade humbucker in the bridge. The thing sounds amazing. My go to acoustic is a Dean, my first one that I have been playing for about 10 years now.

For an amp, I have been playing through my dad's Fender vibrochamp from '66. They really did make those amps better back then! I have a few floor toys, loop pedal, route 66 overdrive and compression, h20 chorus and echo. Not the biggest effect guy, more use them for a little more texture.

When I graduate law school, I am hoping to get a really nice acoustic, possibly a taylor or martin, or something a little more esoteric.

Sorry for the long winded post, guitars just get me off and running haha
