Crappiest Cigar in your humidor

ive seen many threads asking people what there most prized cigar in their humidor/s is but so far i havnt seen any for the worst cigar in there (apologies if there already is a thread on this topic) and how it got there.

my personal ciggar(bage) is a King Six , not sure of the size, seems to be of a slim panatella format. it is a really bad machine made cigar that is so open inside that you can practically squeeze it flat, doesnt smell particularly good either. it got there at a party where a friend (very drunk at the time) asked me for a cigar as i was one of the few people smoking cigars (mine were havanas, unlike everybody elses) anyway i obliged him by giving a montecristo mini which happened to be in my cigar case, he felt he had to return the favour and gave me one of his king six's ( to be honest i think i would rather have nothing, lol). well i humoured the drunkard and took it and when i returned home added it to my humidor along with the other remaining cigars in my case and it lain there ever since, probably feels quite special as it is in close proximity to some cohiba esp's, aswell as many other havanas

wish i could spend all my time like that!!!

looking forward to some other random stories!

I have a few "It's a Boy" Swisher Sweets that I nabbed from a box at work....figured I'd send them to the next big moocher on the board...but no one has been able to unseat the reigning champ!

Re: Crappiest Cigar in your humidor

the worst cigar in my humidor is, without a doubt, a montecristo #3 from 1998. I bought a box of these a while ago and they have been both the best and worst cigars I have ever had. About 1/3 of them have tasted like smoking rolled up yard clippings that were so tightly wrapped it was as hard as getting smoke out of a brick - the others, from the same box now mind you, have been some of the best tasting, most flavorful cigars I've ever had. Go figure!

Re: Crappiest Cigar in your humidor

I have no Idea the brand (most don't have labels), but they were cast offs from coworker's that came back from RTDA 2 years ago. In my ignorance I thought they were being nice as I wasn't here when the treasure was divvied... I've long since learned to show up scheduled or not the day after RTDA!

I have never had one, but I have a Baccarat of some sort in the bottom of the pile. I would guess it's not that great - at least to me.

East India Ltd...I've got two more left in my humi. I'm letting them age to see if there's something that can be done with them.
