I dont have a particular go to cigar, but the brand i find myself reaching for most is Oliva. I always know i will have a quality smoke when i spark an Oliva

My ultimate go to at the moment is the Bolivar royal Corona (isom) after that it is Padron anni's, then Oliva V's.

This is a tough one because I really don't have one smoke that I smoke all the time, I guess I have to many different kinds in my humidors. Right now in my humis if I really wanted a great smoke it would be a VSG I just hate to run down the few I have LOL. But two other go to sticks I have is the 601 Green (I have had them sitting since they came out, had one this weekend and they are aging very well) and Oliva Serie O.

My standard go to is a Camacho Corojo Nacionales. If I'm in the mood for something a little smoother I'll grab El Rico Habano.

I'm not sure I have a go to yet. I still have over 125 different smokes in the testerdor (people keep bombing me with stuff I've never tried). At one time it might have been the Short Story or the Chateau Fuente Sun Grown when I couldn't decide on what to smoke. For a while it was the RP edge maduro missile.
Too many possibilities right now in the humidor. Some I am leaving to get some age on them too... |

![]() When I am reaching for a stick it tends to be a Padron 6000 Maduro, a Perdomo Lot 23, or anything from Oliva or Perdomo that might be laying in there. |

From the beginning, Squid's® "go-to" cigars have been the Sancho Panza Maduro Quixote and the Por Larranaga Honduran Robusto. Added to that over the course of time are the Oliva G Maduro Robusto, the 5 Vegas A Artisan and the Don Tomas Maduro Robusto. I regularly shop the auction sites for these sticks and usually get them for about a third less than the lowest current online retail prices. Although I keep Connies and CigarFO sticks on hand, they are not considered "go-to" by Squid®...
