TA DA! After years in the biz I have accomplished 2 key things in a matter of days.

1---- I signed up and have started to become a Cigar Live junkie

2---- I attended and participated in my first herf!!

Am I on a roll or what?!

I woke up at O' dark 30 and drove 3 hours from ATL to Columbia SC to meet up with 'Tiny Tim' and his band of BOTL. 124 people came in and stayed from 1130 to somewhere around 7ish (well the mass atleast!). Totally awesome! They raised some serious mula for Sister Care. I'm now a bit hoarse from talking (and yelling in some cases) and the hiney no longer has feeling from the I20 road trip, but it was well worth it! It was a blast and Im so glad that the guys invited me out and gave me a chance to participate.

Now, my question is (which no one seemed to be able to answer) :
What the heck does HERF mean? If I use my imagination -- eh nevermind. :errrr:

BTW, I'm not sure of the actual origins of the word HERF...but the following link gives some likely scenarios. Whether it's true or the brown stuff that comes out the rear end of a male cow, I'm not really sure. Anyways HERE IT IS.

I think ksnake is right... a slang on a slang on a slang on a slang. Whatever the origin, Im glad I finally got to experience one! And a wowser of one. At one point I was walking through the crowd going "BEEP BEEP" just to make my way through! LOL It works, ya'll should try it. But you have to do the hand hitting the horn motion for the full affect - otherwise they dont know if your backing up or going forward!!

Yeah, Ive heard about Outlaw and the happenings there!

Ill make my way to check it out sooner or later..... Not like I'm wandering though 5 states now already. I magically appear and then get lost, then yell profanities at my GPS. I hear "make 1st available legal U turn" in my sleep.

I know what you mean.I have a Garmin myself.The voice on it has got to be the most annoying thing.I forget to turn it off & it keeps telling me to go to the last place I programmed into it.
