El Rico Habano: Amazing and Cheap

Ok so I was chilling at the best cigar bar in D.C. (Shelly's Back Room) and I get to talking to this guy and eventually I ask what are you smoking and he tells me a El Rico Habano and I tell him I've never had one but will put it on my list. He takes one out of his cigar bag and slaps it down on the table and says here check it out and tell me what you think. All I can say is this cigar was so smooth and at an msrp around 5 and under it can't be beat. So if you are looking for a new amazing cheap smoke I suggest you try the El Rico Habano.

Couldn't agree more. I have a bunch of Gran Corona Naturals and Torpedo Maduros in my stash right now. I prefer the natural wrapped version but they're all great, especially for the money.

I met Mr Carillo about two years ago and he gave me one of these to try. I liked it so much I always keep a few in my humidor now. I like the naturals better than the maduros also. It is excellent cigar.

The general consensus seems to be that the nattys are better than the maddys can anyone explain why?

I find the Maduros to be overpowering when fresh. The flavors are good, but the power and spice are over the top. My torps are three years old now and are much more agreeable, but it took a good while. To my palate, the nats are good from the jump. Full bodied, but better balanced. My 2c.

Under $3/ea. in the Gran Corona size with a free 3-cigar sampler at JRCigar this weekend only: link

I would have jumped on them, but I already spent my monthly allowance
