How are the RP OSG compared to the Sungrown?

CI has the Rocky Patel OSG's on closeout for $40 for 18. I love the Rocky sungrown's. How do these compare?

they are the same blend I belive but from different factories if you like the regular SG's you'll probably like the OSG. Plus the OSG has some age on them.

The OSG's were a test run for Rocky before he tweaked the blend. They are both FANTASTIC, but the OSG"S are better. Don't buy them all up, I buy them frequently

I find the OSG's just a little bit better. But I like them both

Those prices they have listed as the MSRP are bull. I've bought the OSG's 18 for $59.99 before, and 12 for 19.95 before (both were for the petite coronas). Yes the price is a deal, and the smokes are great but I wouldn't believe the MSRP they list....

Good info. I love the RP Sungrowns, but have never tried the OSG. Will have to give em a try.

I haven't had the sungrown yet, but only have 4/18 left of my OSG's that are going to rest for at least another year. They other ones were very tasty.

I also like the OSGs better. But why pay retail? They have them all the time on the devil site, and you can pick them up much cheaper. In the shippment that should arrive today there is a 5er of the Petite Caronas I picked up for $7 last week. I also picked up an 18 count of them last month for only $25.

I have to say, I disagree with the majority here. The OSG's I had were not anywhere near the flavor of the SunGrowns. In fact I really was not a fan of the OSG's that I have tried.

Maybe CI can put them head to head in their Friday night fights section or something. They can call it "Rumble in the Sungrown Jungle" or maybe "Civil War- Brother vs Brother".

Yeah that's true. But, when you select the cigar to settle down with you know that when it's over you'll still be able to keep all your belongings!

^^^you make a good point. In some respects, cigars are much better though (apologize if a repost):

1. Cigars don't get jealous when you look at other cigars.
2. A man can have more than one cigar in a night.
3. You don't have to cuddle with a cigar.
4. If the fire goes out you can always re-light a cigar.
5. If you don't like the cigar you can get another one, no questions asked!
6. Cigars don't have divorce attorneys.
7. CIGARS CAN'T TALK!
8. A man doesn't mind being seen with an ugly cigar.
9. A cigar doesn't have a mother-in-law.
10. You can enjoy a cigar AND watch the game!
