Any other smokes that are similar in taste?? Friend of mine likes the 5.5x44 Dbl Maduro La Manchas (as I do) but wants to expand his horizons a little. Would like to keep it to a similar vitola too. A short time coffee break sort of smoke.

I had me a sancho panza double maduro the other day. AMAZING smokes for the money.

i find that the monte media noches are fairly similar and also very tasty. give them a try.

and the sancho panza extra fuertes are good too.

To me... again.. to me ---- kinda hits the taste buds like the Excalibur Dark Knights a bit. Those have knight names so Im thinking it was the Lancelot that it reminds me of. (in relation to size with its taste) Could be some reasoning to that since the same company distros them But that's a guess. LOL

ps. the Fuerte (burgandy band) is really quite good and same price points. Check out the barcelona I think it's named...

Could one say the Oliva Series G Maduro (3 3/8x4 is close to the SP DM. The one that I had I was getting some of of the same flavors but with a bit of a bite. Its a great short smoke.
