C.A.O. L'Anniversaire

I really like this cigar despite the burn issues (or maybe I'm not lighting it properly because of its particular shape). I'm wondering what other cigars have the same flavour profile. Or is this unique?

Are you speaking of the Extreme, Maduro or Cameroon? I like CAOs entire line with only a small hesitation with the Criollo & Extreme. Whichever you smoked, you may have a little taste for CAOs profile or approach so grab a Brazlia, and just keep knocking them out from there

Cameroon, sorry, I forgot to specify. I like the little spice and creamy bit. I've tried the Brazillia, but I don't think its for me. I'm aging the rest of the box, hoping it will "calm" down. How is the Extreme and Maduro compared to the Cameroon?

The CAO Cammy is the only CAO I smoke without worry....
It seems over the last few months I have stopped smoking CAO's.

The Cammy is the mildest of the three, but I think its very complex. My favorite of those three is the Extreme after 3-4 months of aging. Young Extremes can be a bad smoke however. The Maduros are pretty creamy if I remember correctly. A litttle richer than the others, but not overpowering.

I used to smoke the maddies quite often, when they are young, they have a strong black pepper taste and hints of chocolate, with age they get more of a choclate expresso taste IMO.

Re: C.A.O. L'Anniversaire

CAO has been pretty consistant, if your having a burn issue sheck your humidity it sounds like you are running a bit wet. I would try to let a stick or two "dry out" before smoking it.

(CAO's are similar to cubans on the humidity thing) if you are at 70 % you are too wet. Drop back to 65 and enjoy a good smoke then..

Re: C.A.O. L'Anniversaire

I love everything that is CAO.. I didn't care for the first CAO Gold I smoked, but I had another today, and it was actually quite good. I enjoyed it a lot. I have yet to smoke a CAO product I didn't enjoy.

Question Re: C.A.O. L'Anniversaire

Love these, especially with about 10 months in the box.

Don't want to jack this thread, but does anyone know what the difference is between a L'Anii and a Cameroon? I have one of each in my humi now. Same size, color and aroma. Its just the band that is different (to the eye at least)
