My BIL and I usually get together for a drink and a Cigar on Thursdays, Fridays and saturdays. I'm due. I'd like to ask you all to say a little prayer for my dad. He's 81 and just had spinal surgury a week ago. He's not up and running yet, he'll be in a recovery unit for another 2 weeks at least. I'll smoke one for him tonight. Last week my BIL and I sat and smoke 2 or 3 in one night and solved all the worlds problems but one, No one will listen to our solutions. So we'll smoke a few more and try again.azzapp::teacher:

I look at it this way. We tried. and will have great cigars doing so. It's like that firefighters commercial. "Want clean water? YES! Want a balanced budget? YES! Want lower taxes? YES! OK the yeses have it. Congress is adjourned.

I got denied last night. My BIL was under the weather so I smoked alone. The good news is pop is doing well and I made progress in my shop on my latest project. I have 2-1/2 projects to finish and then I can get on my personal humidor. Right now I just use a store bought Humi or the one I built for Eric.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your dad Bill. The last few months have been a little rough here after my dad was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Chemo was rough and almost caused heart failure near the end. All worked out well though. He is 99.99% cancer-free and is having radiation therapy for the last tiny spot in his neck. Quite a few extra grays appeared during the last few months. Good luck brother.
