Jose Oliva and Ernesto Padilla seem to be good friends! Ernesto dropped in on the nub event a few weeks while Jose was there. He was talking about his factory opening and was excited to get the next step for padilla off the ground. I am a big fan of Padilla cigars and think Holts is seriously in the wrong here. It was totally uncalled for. I wish ernesto luck in his future endeavors.

I agree 100%, 32's are my top smoke I always have my humi stocked with em. Im totaly excited to try his new blends, I have no doubt they will better than our expectations, he has no choice but to out do the pepin and Oliva blends to get out of there shadow. Just my worthless 2 cents.

Received my new Holt's catalogue today, and think the ad copy on the Padillas was in extremely bad taste. I ordered a bunch of Padilla Miami from Holts which will be delivered tomorrow, as they are discounted and I assume the seller is the one taking the hit on the money.

I got my Holt's catalog today too! Normally I just peruse it to see what I can't afford. But today... each turn of the page was like Christmas morning... I had read the Padilla post mentioned above and couldn't believe it was true... so each turn of the page I expected to be assaulted with anti-Padilla propoganda only to be disappointed. No such luck.

But then I turned the final page and BAM! There it was! What I had been reading about all week!

Holts has lost my business over this stunt. I've gone on a Pepin-made Padilla binge to try and stock up and made sure not to buy a single thing from Holts. Now how to justify still buying VSGs...
