Funny Thompsons Story
My wife signed me up for their cigar club for an anniversary present. and I get 10 La Flor Dominican DL 600's every month. Two weeks ago I got the 10 pack and put them in my humidor to rest from the postal abuse. A week later I noticed some splits in the wrapper. I should have checked them before I put them in the humidor, but I was in a hurry to leave.
I sent an email to Litto Gomez, who replied immediately. He notified Thompsons who emailed me to call a customer service rep. I called her the next day and told her what happened. She asked me if I take the cello off of the cigar before I put it in my humidor. When I told her no she said that's the problem. She said the cello won't allow the humidity to reach the cigar. I wasn't going to argue with her but it was obvious she know's nothing about cigars. I guess it was a good thing I didn't argue with her. She sent me a $40 gift certificate. Too Funny.
