Sure did! Smoked one the day after they arrived. I wasn't terribly impressed. It tasted kind of 'young' to me. I'm letting the rest sit for a while before I pass judgment.

I had wanted to try these also so I had them on my Wish List and earnold25 sent me one. I tried it yesterday and thought it was pretty good. You could really tell it was a Pepin cigar for sure. Not sure how long he had had it for but I think with a year of age on them they will be outstanding but as of now I think they are a pretty good cigar for the price. I wouldnt mind getting some more.

I have been wanting to try this cigar myself, but after Holts slammed Ernesto in there last catalog, I just can't patronize a company like that.

Bingo. I really like the one I had, but Holts is off limits now.

Squid® was so completely impressed by the Serie JJ Maduro, that I don't think The Don can do anything to ever top that cigar! And this is coming from a guy who isn't easily impressed... <G> I know I'll try them eventually, and they'll be purty good. But... <G Again>

I bought them the day they were released. I smoked one and thought...meh.... Boring. I will try them again soon. I still have 4 more robustos and a sealed box of 25 toros.

Let me know if they are still not your cup of tea and perhaps we can work something out in order for me to take them off your hands for you

Casa Royale

I bought a sampler pack from Holts about two weeks ago. Only smoked the Corona sized "Ace" so far. Nice construction, easy draw and a good prelight aroma. Overall I liked it, but for $5 a stick I didn't think it was remarkable.

They may get far better with a few months humi time on them, we shall see.

I was interested in these sticks too. I guess I'll wait a bit after the comments here.
