Good "buzz" cigar?

What do you guys recommend for a good buzz and great relaxation effect? I am new to cigars and want some recommendations. I think I am more of a medium taste but want good flavor and aroma.

Might be a bit strong for you but, check out the LFD Double Ligero Chisel. It's one of my personal favorites with a nice hazelnut/chocolate taste to make the whole experience that much more enjoyable.

LFD El Jocko maduro - packs a punch for such a little bastage and very flavorful. Camacho Triple Maduro or Diploma, RP Edge Sumatra, El Cobre...

Joya de Nicaragua Antano certainly gave me a buzz first time I had one.

Do this... don't eat all day then smoke any one of those cigars mentioned.

That will give you a buzz for sure.

No, but seriously don't do that

If you're looking for a big nicotine buzz, few cigars will really do it for you. I rarely feel the effects of a cigar, even the full bodied ones.

Chiselito or chisel. can't go wrong with these, and they have a good price point. Don't eat before you smoke, and enjoy!

In my humble opinion, the LFD (La Flor Dominicana) Ligero 500 (L-500) offers a big "buzz" bang with a medium bodied flavor that is tasty to a nub. If you decide to try this tasty yummy, I recommend you eat a BIG meal first. This bad boy will sneak up on you and hurt you bad. The L-500 still affects me more than any other cigar in my humidor. I find the LFD Double Ligero to be much more full bodied with a more spicy/peppery flavor. To me, the LDF Ligero Oscuro Natural Cabinets fit nicely in between the other two.

I have to say, I love the Double Ligero Chisel (full and spicy) and Double Ligero Chisel Maduro (full and rich) because of how it smokes when I punch it. I am truly impressed with the recommendations you have received. Try them all. That is the only way you will find YOUR palate.

A few other recommendations you might want to try as you venture down your path are Tatuaje's, 601's, 1495's, Maxx, Gran Habanos, Torano's, Flor de Oliva's, Ancient Warrior, JFR's, and list goes on and on.

With all the other recommendations here, this should give you a really good starting point.

Welcome and enjoy!

This is the key - the ones that will kick you in the bee-hind don't hit you instantly, they wait until you least suspect.

Example - I was smoking a JDN Antano and was on the phone to Smokem. Anyway, I'd about finished the cigar and needed to get up for some reason and *BAM* it hit me. In fact my words were pretty much:

"Smokem, this cigar aint too strong. (Stands up) Ho-lee Shit, I need to sit down".

Knocked me on my ass for a good hour or so!

or....

Drive 400+ miles drinking coffee while smoking a; CFO Reserva #7 torp, Sancho Panza Dbl Mad, Astral Cammie Corona, another CFO #7.....then have an Illusione #2 IIRC...????

I thought I'd entered a time portal and was back at woodstock again....Kicked my butt and badly. Had to drink a Mtn Dew and get something to eat.

My vote is for a Joya De Nicaragua 1970 in one of the larger vitolas...on a near empty stomach.

I think an Opus "Power Ranger" would do the trick.
