Cigar Jar
wow, its been quite a while. hope everyone is well. has anyone tried or uses the 'Cigar Jar' to store some smokes at work or on a desk or something, looking to pick one up yet not sure how well it works. looking to store some top notch cigars in there, i know....should be respectful and use a humi but circumstances might prohibit me from doing so, so I am looking for a pretty descent humi that can hold a small amount...maybe 10-25 if any one has any suggestions. thanks.

Personally, I recommend an Otter box travel humidor. No transparency: less heat absorbed, no visibility as to what's inside. Ruggedized so when (not if) you drop it, your precious stogies are safe and sound. Discdog has a monster that holds half a cigar store, and they have sizes all the way down to a few sticks.
Hope that helps! |

yea man, thanks for the input i will look into them. I am really looking to store some of my sticks that are in my humi now, got to move home for a bit and the parents are not enamored about my enjoyment of the sticks. So i made a deal with them that I can keep a few of my sticks so as long as I dont smoke them in the house or anything. So bringing home some fine ones, Ashton VSG, Opus X, Monte Cristo #3 ( you get the deal) and so pretty much these wont be touched for a year so I'm looking for some storage (relatively cheap) but something that will def produce protection. but I will def look into that Otter box. thanks.
currently looking at a Cuban Crafters (have a 50 ct now that i split with my roommate) 8 ct.

I agree with Webby. Get an Otterbox or an Xtreme.

If you are talking about the acrylic jars, I use them for traveling. I do not use the humi block that comes with the jar because it can over humidify your cigars - even causing mold problems. I use the Furente humi packs, and the jars are great for traveling. The can be found on the net for about $16 pluss shipping.
