Question for you guys who don't get to smoke everyday

I'm pretty much in the same boat. Usually lucky to get 1 in a week at the moment. In my previous job it was great because I would often have to travel 150-200km to a job and it was a great opportunity to smoke a couple of cigars.
My current situation precludes me from this luxury so I get one when I can. However I don't usually have the hankering for another one straight up, but certainly would like to smoke a few more in the week than I am. Oh well, you can't have your cigars and smoke them too.... can you??

My big drive to work (240 miles) is my cigar nirvanna. I usually smoke a big one small one first and after getting through the heavy traffic and into the long scenic final three quarters of the trip I'll light up a big one that I picked out special for the trip. In between trips I may smoke one small one on the short trip from my home away from home to work (20 min.). The big trip home at the end of the week is another go at the large / small routine. At home I usually have a small cigar every other day or so and an occasional pipe of something special. There are many days, primarily in winter when I don't smoke at all.

I have found that if I smoke every day I get a rough scratchy throat. So I'm going back to every other day. On a smoking day I often enjoy two small cigars, back to back, to compare them. This is because I'm still exploring different brands, trying to get to know different cigars.
But at the end of the day I always come back to Fuente. I've never smoked one of theirs that wasn't good and satisfying.

I smoke usually once or twice a week, depending on schedule and weather. There was a time when I smoked every day, but the relative lack of cigars in Australia makes that hard to do.

I find that I do appreciate the time I get to smoke now more than before, and that I savor each cigar more, since I try not to smoke unless I know that I'll have at least an uninterrupted hour to enjoy the cigar.

I hope that your sticks were an employee perk! Did the store consider employee smoking in their advertising budget?

I'm usually good for about 3 sticks a week and I'm in heaven if I the time to have 2 a day.

What are you smoking? I can't imagine having the budget for that kind of pace. At an average of $5/stick, spending $25-$35/day just on smokes is a rate of over $9k/yr. Actually, I can imagine it, but I'd have to win a lottery or a hell of a lot more photoshop contests or something.

I usually get one or two a week in, but this will probably pick up slightly with the pleasant spring and summer nights coming on. That said, I don't have an "urge" to light up the fairly rare followup; usually curiosity or a conversation with someone else who is having a second one would drive me to have that extra stick. As Ninjavanish said, I would follow up with the stronger one. The other day I tried what turned out to be a rather mild gifted stick I had been curious about for a while (I forget the exact one) after having a fairly flavorful ISOM. I thought it was going to be stronger by the wrapper and the smell, but I was wrong. It was a rookie mistake; I'll not repeat it.

Actually, that was part of the agreement when I signed on to work there. Complimetary sticks (anything but the Paddi Annies).

I usually only get to burn 1 maybe 2 if im lucky on the weekends. Weekdays i dont touch any cigars since i dont have the time.

I smoke two or three times a month. I have a limited amount of smokes so I have to chose when I really want one or feel the need to get away from everything and have one. Once I get out of college and have a budget for cigars I will probably smoke more.

I smoke once a week if I am lucky. It is much easier to do in the spring/summer. In fall/winter I smoke maybe twice a month. I also want to smoke more than one stick at a time...but I never do. For me smoking is too relaxing, and if I try and went for more than one smoke, I would be rushing it. If I had a whole afternoon with nothing to do, and had three hours to smoke, I would go for two...but that never happens!

Same here!! Now and then I do get some time in the middle of the week..

I try to get 1 or 2 in a week. Some weeks a little more, some weeks none at all . . . it just depends on my schedule and the weather (can't smoke in college dorms).
