Mild vs Flavor

The “More Flavor” post got me thinking today about some of the milder smokes I enjoy. If you're anything like me, you smoke medium to full flavored cigars because we're used to this strength and we enjoy the flavor of this range but...

I do have a mild smoke or two that I enjoy very much. Most will go with the AVO but for me, I like the Butera. Interesting enough, this is a pipe tobacco company but the cigars are very well made and the flavor is extremely full for a mild cigar.

What mild smokes do you enjoy for the flavor?

I like the NUB connie for a good mild cigar but I also agree with Jitzy on the Hemingway's

Hemingways are great. I also like the Perdomo ESV CT Shade. In fact, that's probably one of the only CT shades that I really enjoy. The Casa Torano is also a very flavorful mild smoke.

The Butera is the definitive buttery tasting cigar. I feel the buttery taste in the back of my throat and when I worked in the shops, I recommended to customers looking for a mild smoke most of the time. I made alot of full time Butera smokers this way.

A little stronger smoke from the same company is the Butera La Pena. It's a torp and unlike the natural, has a dark wrapper. The flavors are spectacular and well worth the price.

Damn, now I'm gonna have to go buy some of these cause I have reminded myself how good they are.

The Perdomo ESV '91 Regente Connecticut is smooth and tasty, perfect for that early morning smoke. And just the right size. I have two 5ers coming in the mail today from the devil site.

Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real and Paul Garmarian are my choices when I reach for a mild smoke (which is a pretty rare occurrence).

The Cabaiguan Guapo Junior is mild (to me) and with lots of great creamy/buttery flavor (to me)..

The Casa Torano and Hemmingway Classics are also great ones..

AVO XO, Ashton Classic, Montecristo, Macanudo, or Nub Connetticut also good choices..
