How old were you and how did you get started with cigars?

I was 24 and my stepdad brought me back a Cuban Cohiba from Puerto Rico and that was that. Its been all downhill since.

I started with a Garcia Vega I absconded from my dad at the ripe age of 12 and have been smoking ever since, thirty four years and counting.

My greatest treasure is photographs of four generations of males from my fathers side all smoking cigars, going back to the 1800's. I've had the pleasure of continuing this apparent genetic dependency with my oldest son, who now becomes the 5th generation.

My was introduced about 6 years ago while my dad was working overseas. My first one was an ISOM.

I really got interested last year about December. Now I have two Humi's full of singles and am looking at gettting a cooler and buying some boxes.

I started when I was 18. My uncle is a big cigar smoker, so the night I graudated high school he came up to me and handed me a box of Padron 1964's. He said dont tell your mom I gave'em to you. So me and all my friends went out that night and had the time of our lives. Now almost a year later me and 3 of my good friends from high school are all hooked. We all shared smokes from that box that night, I still have 5 left from that box. We will probally get together in May and smoke the rest of them to celebrate being graduated 1 year and surviving our first year of college.
