Tried an El Mejor Emerald

I picked up a sampler recently from CI which included some Emerald shaggy foot cedar wrapped babies and a few El Mejors maduros. I smoked the maduro first and it was quite good. The real bargain I got was what I lit up last night, the Emerald. This is a fine, smooth drawing/smoking/burning stick with great flavor and body. From foot to nub the stick never got bitter and produced loads of smoke and tasty nuances. They are also a bargain at $40/20 in robusto. If you get the chance, give one a try. They sure work for me.

I agree! The Emeralds are a smooth, tasty, medium bodied stick. I think the price make these are good buy.

well this is reassuring, i just got an emerald free from CI with my larger purchase. Can't wait to try it!

I got that same deal form CI. I was looking at that one yesteerday. I already smoked the others. I picked it up, examined it... then I put it back in the humidor and grabbed a CAO. I might have to give it a try next.

I just got done smoking the same stick from the same deal from CI. I didn't love it. I won't buy another. It just didn't do it for me. It lacked flavor.

I just smoked the one I got from CI and it wasn't bad, but it was one that I would not buy myself

i just got the espresso in a trade from another place and it looks pretty good so might give it a try and add my .02
