Region C Finals: (1) Padron 1926 vs. (7) Illusione cg4

The 64 NC Cigar Tournament Continues, Round 4, what will happen next?!?

Basic Rules:
1. Voting for the "better" cigar of the two, why is up to you, list your reasons, smoke one or both, post up a short review maybe. The only condition is that its not based on how much the cigar costs.

2. I decided that any cigar that has multiple versions such as Olde World Corojo and Maduro or Edge Maduro, Corojo and Sumatra will just be included together, so you are considering all of the lines when you vote for the Edge or the Olde World.

3. Each Region will have its first round one at a time and then we'll proceed with the second round each region one at a time.

4. All cigars are seeded 1-16 per region, you'll see those numbers by each cigar during the contest.

5. Very limited cigars such as AF Anejos and Ashton ESGs were not included.

6. The voting for each matchup will be open for a week
Have Fun!!!

I think this one wont even be a contest, PAM26 FTW!! The depth and balance on the 26 can only be achieved by a select few cigars.. For me the cg4 is too lite and the singles I've had were inconsistent from cigar to cigar (different batch, not box)..

Hey, this isn't quite fair. The Illusione cg4 is a very specific stick. Only one size, one blend and one wrapper but, you're putting it up against the 1926 SERIES???? I'd have to vote 1926 but again, it isn't quite fair. Put the entire Illusione line up there and you've got a fair fight.

yeah but then people would say oh all the lines are a bit different, i cant compare, i like the x cigar but not the y, its better this way, fair is whatever, 26 is a great cigar, its earning its way to the top, illusione has done pretty good for itself, but its run will be stopped here in all likelihoodity

keep voting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I understand in general but, in this case the Illusione line is comprised of sepcifically sized sticks I.E. the cg4 is a corona and a corona only, the "magic lance" is a lancero etc...It's like the thousand series Padrons. The 3000 is a specific size as well as cigar.

Still may not change the voting but, I hope people understand that cg4 is just one cigar, one size only, one wrapper only going up against a bunch of sizes and two different wrappers.

Sigh..I just voted 1926. What else could I do?

:mumbles:

For my tastes, these are the top two in my book. I smoked an Illusione cg:4 this afternoon, and finished the evening with a PAM 1926 #35. I have to go with the PAM.
