Thumbs up CAO Vision

When was the last time yuo had one of these? When they first came out I just had to try one. Thought it was a bit pricy but went for it. So what has that been, a couple years at least? I smoked it and was expecting maybe a stronger cigar, more taste, something along those lines. I didn't care for it and haven't smoked another till last night.

So I have had 4 of these sitting in my humi for a long time now (I'm guessing they all have at least a years worth of age on them). Last month at our Houston Herf I took one, lite it up and then vegasgirl took it from me and smoked it So last night I decided to grab on (Catalyst - 5 x 50) and smoke it on the way to work.

I LOVED IT! I was shocked! This cigar was great and I would say shot up to my top 5 cigars right now, maybe better. It was smooth, complex, great burn, good amount of smoke, I mean I had no problems at all with this cigar! Some flavors I picked up where oak, ceder, some sweetness, a little spice, was creamy at times. It was a very complex smoke that changed a lot for me with some flavors by themselves and at times mixed in together. I never got a bad puff of smoke and enjoyed every drag off this cigar. When the flavors mixed they where perfect, when by themselves very good, and when the slight spice kicked off and on it was awesome!

So I have one of these left in my humi and vegasgirl will not get this one LOL. If you have tried it before and didn't like it give it another shot, you may be surprised! I was!

Do you think it is well worth keeping them in the humi for at least 6-12 months? You got my interest as well as it has been quite awhile since I had one of these and my take on this cigar was much like yours.

Thanks. I missed that one at release. Guess I'll have to circle back.

I said the EXACT same thing Frank in a post a few months ago. I bought a box when they first came out and they were ok. I just had one after a year or two of aging and it was amazing.

Yes I do think they are worth keeping that long if thats what I get everytime. But I also plan on trying some from the B&M without the age. Maybe its not just the age that made them that much better but my palet as well might have changed some.

I think that was the reason I decided to try them again!

Dear God in Heaven,,,another box on my list to buy this week. I already have a list and this isn't going to help esp. if they are on the expensive side. I wonder if the bank will give me an addt'l line of credit just for cigars?

Heather loved the Vision off the get go as well...I was more like you, they are good cigars, but not something I put in the $10+ per cigar range.

I think I have four or five stashed away somewhere that I may pull out again...but Heather may have polished them off after last years Serious Cigars party...
