Ya, I have 7 of the sigloVI left, they have been seasoning for a long while now,

I also have one SigloV. I have heard the SigloV is a complicated Cohiba, Any truth to that?
My SigloV has been in the humi for over a year now..
It smells great, feels great and firm. I am looking forward to that one this fall.

I've seen other do it as well, but I have never tried it.

It really does do a great job of directing the smoke in your mouth. It feels awkward at first but after a few stick cut like that you kind of get used to it. I will have to cut a straight cut next time I smoke a pyramid and see if I can tell a difference.
I also just had the though that it might help reduce any kind of tar build up at the head with more area. I dont know, just a thought/

How much of an angle do you cut it at? I can see how it could help reduce tar build up. I sometimes get tar build up when I plug cut a cigar.

With a piramide. I usually lay the cutter on a table and put the cigar into it straight up in the air and clip once, clear the debris and clip a second time. That is pretty close to a 1/4 inch. If I get a big tar build up later in the cigar I do the same thing but, only clip once.

I cut mine a tad straighter than 45* Somewhere in between a straight cut and a 45* cut. It works good. I like it.
