Good, but over-priced.

I thought it was horrible... I'd rather have a VSG any day. I'll never buy one.

There is really no comparing the VSG and ESG. They are completely different blends designed for different flavors. I think they're both good cigars with the ESG being more subtle and the VSG being peppery and fuller bodied.

As for the Torpedo, it will be coming out nearer the end of the year. Manny, Sales Director at Ashton said that he hopes it will be out by Christmas. They are a bit behind on production of the new sizes.

It's amazing how tastes vary-
I have to say the esg is good but dollar for dollar the vsg is my go to smoke-never had a bad one-- personally I would say the vsg is mild to medium but smooth as silk

I loved the one VSG I was able to get my hands on (a petit-corona from memory), though didn't find it hardy spicy. The Aged Maduro, also from Ashton, was spicier to me than the VSG was.

I would say smoke the ESG in the near future. Even if it is still a little too young, its bound to be a nice smoke for sure.

Ditto this as I have smoked these very fine cigars and enjoy them right out of the box but much better when they are aged 6 months to a year ( if you can wait that long ) Well worth the money.

Finally smoked in on sat cause it was an amazing day in CT, not to hot a nice breeze...literally perfect. And boy so was the cigar, what a great smoke. Perfect strength and construction was flawless. Another great smoke by Ashton. Geoff, no need to send me a backup, however if you are itching you do some damage I know someone who wouldn't mind it...someone new to the forum/cigars. Thanks for the offer though.
