Do you plan ahead or go random?

Mainly random for me. Thanks to several BOTL's here on this site I have quite a few sticks that I have never tried. So the hard part is deciding which one to try next. Which I have had worse problems.

I usually don't plan ahead unless something awesome is happening and I know I have an awesome cigar to match

I try to have a target stick in mind. Then again most of the time something else will catch my eye and I'll end up smoking that instead.

generally random, as I can never remember what all I have in the humi... if I'm going to a friend's for smokes, I'll take about half a dozen different ones, have a couple or three, then bring the leftovers back home and put'em back in the humi

I have invited a few guys over or I go to someone's house, then I pick 2 cigars just in case one is plugged or my taste buds are off that night.

I usually have an idea of what I want, but it all may change when I open up the Humi doors.

I don't think about it until I'm ready to light up. Because I seldom smoke at home I take a variety up to 12 sticks with me when I leave the house in the morning. I average 2 smokes a day. My choice depends on the time of day, my mood at that time, how much time I have along with what I've had to eat (or not) or drink leading up to that moment. My portable has at least 6 options for the day or 3 if I leave the house in the evening. Even then I may still hit the B&B on the road if my travel sticks don't do the trick.

What usually ends up happening is I give away more than I smoke by handing out stuff that didn't make the cut that day. I also get handed sticks so it sometimes gets to where I come home with more than I took with me that morning. That's what I like about this hobby. You never know what the day is going to bring.

Most of the time I don't really know what I want until I open the humi. There are some times however (maybe 5%), depending on what I'm doing, where I'll go into the humi with the intention of pulling out a certain stick. For example there are three of four sticks I keep in the huni especially for when I'm cutting the grass. Most of the time its' random though.

A little of both for me: I take the cellophane off of a few cigars each week...then I choose one from a few cigars that have been well exposed to my 65-69 % humi.

I like to be random, but for some reason my wife has been on a kick for the past couple weeks where she wants to pick out my smoke for the night. I let her have all most free reign in the decision, but there are a couple smokes that are off limits.
