 Warm MOIST compress on the area -Half hour on off for 3 hours when you have the pain-Don't open or yawn too wide-antiinflammatorys,soft foods valium at night until it subsides--If you grind-Bite appliance is good Good luck bro-- Damn-I sound like a dentist

had the same issues, was directed by my dentist that i was grinding at night and it was probably stress from job as well, got the night guard. few months later, life was back to golden. since then, i haven't had any of the issues i had previous...headaches, jaw soreness, etc...
i guess i'm pretty much just saying the same as many above, but just to reinforce the point, i guess. good luck, and hope it subsides sooner than later for ya!

The good news is it IS getting better. Went to the Dentist yesterday and had some work done and now my OTHER side is sore. Should have the night guard any time now, but I do notice improvement. Thanks for all the help.
