TV or no TV when you're smoking?

I typically listen to music or page through the newest cigar catalog.

On occasion i like to read a book while smoking but i have a tendency to get too engrossed in one or the other and either the cigar goes out or i loose my place.

What Justin said. Coca Cola is always good, TV is almost always good - except with a cigar. Porch cigar (radio sometimes) is best - with a Coke.

No tv for now. I do all my smoking outside, with a BIG mug of coke. My wife joins me occasionally, even tho she doesn't smoke. But most of the time I am alone, enjoying the smoke and just being.

Doesn't matter to me at all. If there's something I want to watch (which is rare) then I watch TV. Otherwise, I'll read a book or, preferably, have someone else to smoke with and talk to.

Thanks all for the replies! I find it very interesting. I love a movie when I'm smoking a cigar, but hate the tv any other time, it just annoys me. One of the things I love so much about cigars is the people you meet when you're smoking them. I've met some amazing characters at my local cigar lounge, and those experiences are the ones I'll remember, not what was on the tube.

Just depends on what mood I'm in. Have a TV in the garage, so it is a option.

I like it on when I'm chillin' at my local B&M. I smoke outside at home so it's not an option.

Its kinda like a little indoor shop. Somewhere I can go and work on a lamp, small appliances, etc. Somewhere if I spill a drink its not a big deal.

Maybe a beverage and a book. Sometimes my wife joins me for some "quiet time" together. I try to arrange things so that she's upwind.

Lately it has been me alone on the old couch we moved to the garage with my computer. During baseball season I have this shortwave radio I turn on and relax with that.

I did have a good time once when I hung out with a friend and he had a projection TV on the wall and we were puffing away. Fun to watch Fight Club like that with the smoke getting caught between the projector an movie making some cool smoke effects.
