Nicaraguan Cigar choices

Hi all,
Have finally developed my palate, (somewhat), over the past short 2 years of smoking, and I find that I keep coming back to the cigar that has the Nicaraguan blend/filler. Why? It just seems to fit my tastes. As I look up the tobacco in the descriptions, the Nicaraguan blend is always present when I like the cigar. Now, am wondering what you b/sotLeaf can recommend as your favorite cigar using the Nicaraguan tobacco, blend or filler, and price not important! Yes, I realize there are other tobaccos blended, but, the Nicaraguan tobacco is always there. Right now, Cohiba XV extra vigorosa is topping my list!

ps forgive my ignorance for not using all the correct terms (blend/filler,etc), but, Nicaraguan tobacco just turns me upside down with its taste!

Padron,Tatuaje,Illusione,Oliva and the list goes on. I am also a big fan of Nicaraguan Tobacco!!!

Oliva makes some great Nicaraguans! I also like the XV alot, and I think it has to do with the Sumatra wrapper. Do you find you like other Sumatra's as well? Rocky Patel has made some great Sumatra's - Decade, Edge Sumatra, and I believe the current Summer Blend is Sumatra. More food for thought...

I would say Olivia, NUBs, and of course Pepin's blends.

Thanks guys...all good choices. As for the Oliva's, the V series is awesome, but, I find it hit and miss with the G and O series. The Flor de Oliva maduro hits it well, though, but, am not sure if this is a Nicaraguan. Need to look it up! As for the Edge, felt it was a bit strong about 6 months or more ago, so need to try another. However, love the Edge Lite. As for the Sumatra wrapper, yesssssssssssss!

Joya de Nicaragua Antaños and Serie C are my new favs though the C has an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.

im with you on the nicaraguan tobac. It is my preference and i dont care much for alot of honduran sticks, im not saying all of them, just alot. I like Padilla, tatuaje, illusione, NUbs, pepin, Oliva..i mean i could go on.. Its just a matter of what you do and dont like the taste of, Your the one who is going to smoke them so get the ones you like. Punch has a cigar the gran puro, its 100% honduran tobac and i love it. And of course camacho is honduran and they are great stix. But nicaraguan is awesome, check this poll i started and you will see where your other BsOTL sit...

These are not a bad stick, I really like the flavor. Very earthy and full. This is what an Nicaraguan reminds me of. I really enjoy Nicaraguan tobacco myself, and every once in a while I come across a new cigar that has this earthy taste.
