RP Summer Collection 2008

Enjoying my first RP Summer Collection 2008 this evening. It is a great medium bodied stick that is quite flavorful, has very good construction, draw is perfect, smokes cool and billows smoke. This will definitely not be my last, anyone else had the chance to try these?

I have tried the Robusto -Very good smoke indeed--- that lancero sounds tasty though--I do have a Churchill and was waiting to see if there was a difference with some age on it...

From your RP Whore: Let these rest for about 3 weeks. The first ones I smoked did taste a little bitter, and strong. The last one I smoked after 3 weeks took the edge off, and the flavors came through. The Lanceros are My Fav size in the line.

I have 3 left right now, out of 5 to begin with. I need to hit up the local B&M and pick up a few more when I get the chance.

I'm slowly introducing myself to RP, I had a 92, and today I picked up a Decade, I'll smoke it in about a week of letting it sit. Next RP will have to be the summer classics, I'll check out the B&M soon.

I had the robusto the other day, like others was bitter at the start but turned out alright. I plan on getting a few of the Lanceros and aging them to see how they turn out.

Rocky Summer Collection Adds To The Legacy

The Edge certainly interested us and the price point was exceptional putting Rocky on the map. The Vintage series was a great medium duo. The Old World Reserve and the ITC Anniversary and the Decade just gave us more reasons to buy Rocky's stuff. Go to most any retailer and Rocky's stuff is right up there as the best sellers of most any shop. He has come a long way from those days of Indian Tabac Boxers and Tomahawks.

I enjoy these. I was told once that these have the same wrapper as the Edge Sumatra that was put out a while back. Not sure if it's true as I've never had one of those. I've got a couple of these left and I could see myself getting a few more.

I agree that he has come a long way. This summer smoke impressed me. I have only had the robusto but it was very enjoyable.
