Camping and the art packing a herfador

So this weekend was a camping weekend, and as usuall I packed up my herfador (15 count). In it was:

2 Short Stories
2 Oliva O petite perfectos
1 Cusano 18 year connecticut church
1 CAO Italia (6x60)
1 Sosa Wavell
1 Felipe Gregorio barber pole (the 3 shade) church
2 Gurkha's (Titan, and some other perfecto)
3 Gran Habano #5's (robusto, toro, and bmf I think a 6X60)
1 Edge maduro toro
1 Live red label
2 Edge off color 6-60's
1 Perdomo Habano Maduro toro
1 Old Cigar Factory Maduro Robusto
and a two others that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Anyway, I got 19 smokes into that baby, and everyone of them except for two got smoked (those two got pitched into the fire pit after trying unsuccessfully to enjoy them).

The only cigars in that bunch that I had smoked before were the Short stories, petite perfectos, italia, cusano, perdomo and the edges. I did not put them in the journal because, well I didn't bring it with me. No worries though, I have extras of those smokes in the testerdor.

One standout of the lot was the Gran Habano Corojo #5. Great smoke in all three sizes! Right down to the end, this cigar satisfied me. Nice powerful finish as well.

The Cusano was awesome with coffee walking one of the dogs, and lasted through 4 cups. This one got nubbed. I have had the Cusano before, but did not enjoy it as much as I had this time...

The barber pole got pitched (it was just not good, and the draw was awful).

The Live would have been good if I could have gotten a draw off of it. Headache tight draw, and split down the middle. It got pitched. I have another and hope for a better experience with it.

And the fact that I can't remember what the other 2 cigars really bugs me. Were they just forgettable, or was I just that polluted this weekend?

Of those 19 cigars, 5 of them were smoked by friends, the rest were killed by me. Along with a fifth of Gosseling's Black seal and a 2 liter of ginger beer, 6 pack of beer and a bunch of coffee....

So, if you think you may not be able to get many cigars in that 15 count, think again. Oh, and the camping was great, the dogs played in a slow river, there was a pool, good company and food (except for my wife's friend's annoying spoiled brat of a kid, but whatever)

Man, I walk EVERY park we stay in, with a lit cigar. I never run into a guy puffing them down like you! Eventually some day I'll run into one of you guys out there!

Sounds like a good trip, what did you camp in? RV, tent?

Come to the north east.

I tend to do most of my smoking when camping. This is a time I find most relaxing, and get the most bang for my buck. I smoke at least two a week at home, but when I go camping, all bets are off. I could fire off one after the next given the opportunity, but I only get to take what I can pack into the herfador. Sometimes I smoke them all, sometimes I don't.

We have a:

It rocks. Tons of room, three pop outs (one for me and the wife, and one for each kid) HD LCD tv/dvd combo (got to have movies for the kids before bed) A/C, full kitchen, $hitter and shower, the works. We pull that pig with a 2000 Toyota Tundra. The dogs even have a good time..

sounds awesome, I have been trying to get my girlfriend to go camping for years now, Not going to happen in just a tent. I might need to rent one of those to get her to agree!

Hells yea man. Does that have a side pop out like the one on the back there? Nothing better than NEVER worrying about if you can find a gas station or not, just so you can hit the can. We've been full timing for just over 2 years now, and are looking to upgrade. I could flood this thing with pictures of her, but I'll just show one shot when she was new (showing the 20ft slide) and another us at a scenic stop in Utah.

Awning + Recliner = cigar ( =

I took 9 of my contest winning scavenger hunt photos within a single RV park in Dayton, OH, haha. If ANYBODY here see's that rig anywhere-stop in and we can have a smoke! My treat ( =

Now that is a BMF! There is a slide out, the size of the couch, certainly not 20 feet worth though! If you are looking to upgrade and are full timing it, why not just by a class c?

We are actually looking for a diesel pusher. I need every inch of my truck for work, so the new baby, will have to be able to tow 7,000 lbs.

I'd like the next one to have enough room for a vinotemp! haha. We actually have a 5cu ft beverage fridge in ours, but she insists it stays in usage for the beverages ) = Worst part of these babies, is that it doesn't take long for any cigar to fill them with smoke..
