What fuel did you use? It requires at least triple refined (or more) fuel.

May also have air in it use a precision screw driver to depress the valve and let the air out then refill with good fuel. (Alway refuel with the butane can upside down so air is not transfered to the lighter.)

Also blow or use canned air to flush out the nasty bits in the jets.

I tried that last night, but was having trouble doing both without dropping the camera.

The triple flame does look very, very cool.

Also - I had planned to get this lighter from your site, but couldn't pass up the excellent deal I got at auction. I'll be sure to get other business your way, Mark!

I can't pass up a deal either! It's the thought that counts (almost)

That is one of my current favorite lighters, especially for herfs!

I also had a problem with one of my lighters and read somewhere to purge or bleed it. Then take the can of butane and into the burner push the can a couple of times. Do not hit the igniter. This worked for my lighter. Just "Do Not Hit The Igniter" when you do this. I guess the force of the butane not only cleans it but also my free up some fine particles in the lighter.

Hope this make sense!
