Re: special aging humidor

I have a regular humidor (a Zino Tobacco Leaf Model) within which I keep my everyday "go to" cigars; it holds 75 - 100 cigars. I also have another 50 count, made by Avo, and in it I keep and age my high-end cigars. I haven't smoked a cigar from that humidor in over a year. Finally, I have a third humidor, a 200 count, which serves as an overflow/ageing humidor. This system works pretty well for me.

Once I get my 200 count I'm going to use my 25 count for aging. Try not to touch it for a year and pull a stick out and see what its like.

You recommend taking the plastic wrappers off for aging?

People will differ on this, and, quite frankly, I don't think it makes much difference. Still, I like to take the wrappers off and let the tobacco breathe. I think it helps the ageing process.

Re: special aging humidor

I have an extra 100ct humi that i leave alone for smokes to age in, I just check on the humidity and that but for the most part I leave it alone, I am constantly opening my cabinet. I would figure this would help with some good aging in a seperat humidor
