This isn't passing the smell test. I work for UPS..From east coast to west is only 5 days by ground. Guaranteed. The only exceptions are Weather and natural disasters. T think someone is trying to sell you a bridge in Brooklyn.

i dont like to ship thru UPS or FEDEX if giving the option. they take forever. The USPS actually is the fastest method for delivering residential parcels at this moment in time. And the USPS will not require you to be home for delivery, You never know with UPS or FEDEX sometimes they leave it , sometimes they dont. Fortunatly my UPS man hangs out at the cigar shop me and junkman smoke at. Its a coincidence but its rad because he will leave my stuff behind the fence. That basterd did beat me in poker tho...so i still dont like UPS hahahha

When i track the package on UPS.com is says pick up date 09/02/08 then it shows my package going all over the place and it says "re-scheduled delivery date 09/11/08." BTW I had UPS loose an ampilifier that weighed 140lbs in a crate bigger than 3 feet long. So I'm sorry but I humbly disagree when you say they don't loose stuff. Fortunately, I insured it for 5k so I was able to replace it. Someone has a nice amp now. JBL GTI 6000.

Thanks. I've got others but these are RP 1990s and 1992s as part of a sample pack. I've never tried them before and was looking forward to one. I guess something to look forward to next weekend. Anyone ever try these? If so, what did you think?

Yeah I wish retailers would have more options. I hate using UPS because I like having stuff shipped to my PO Box and they won't deliver to the PO. I also think that the USPS is faster. As far as screw ups go I sent my ex wife's engagement ring off to get fixed ($5000 ring) and it got lost by UPS. Yeah they paid for it but I figure somebody got a nice bonus if you know what I mean.

You do have options. Tell them how you want your cigars shipped. If they say no you threaten to take your business to a competitor and they will back down. You might pay more, but you got it shipped the way you want. I won't take any shipper but UPS. I know I'm biased.

I hear you Mark. I have many times added it in the comment section when I have ordered and more times then not it does no good. Once I even paid for USPS but they sent it UPS anyway! Yeah got lost but the retailer made good on it. By the way I'm not talking just cigars because I don't buy many of them online. And if I wanted to pick up the phone and call them I wouldn't be shopping online LOL.

Ok thread jack, sorry Forrest!
