My weekend smokes and drinks...

Well, this past weekend, I enjoyed some nice smokes and drinks. On Friday night I had a nice dinner and then enjoyed a Davidoff Special "R" with a Glennfiddich 30yr. On Saturday night, I smoked a nice Camaroon Nub with a couple for Negra Modelos and then finished my evening up with a Connecticut Nub with a glass of Crown and Club Soda.

Rum, Coke, a daiquiri, rum and Coke. Those are my faves. A nice port, cabernet, or zinfandel is also good. As for beer, try Sam Adams Black Lager. Very good with a mild to medium cigar.

I love a good Diet Dr. Pepper/ Diet Coke, or a nice cold Monster Energy drink... when it comes to alcohol, I have rarely had bad rum, so whenever its available while I smoke, its preferred. something 12year pref.

Love the Lagavulin and the Laphroaig , really any Islay - the peatier, the better.

Vintage Tawny Port is a surefire winner.

Most India Pale Ales seem to stand up to the more full-bodied smokes I enjoy. Troegs's Hopback Amber Ale is a nice choice too.

In the morning though it's coffee out of the French press...mmm good!

For milder smokes or for a change I go with a glass of brandy or bourbon and ginger ale on the rocks, a fine single malt is also a good choice when you can get it.
Not just a Texas thing anymore...we can get it in PA, and that's been one of my favorites for some time. Cheers!

Also, this is probably a no-brainer, but The Dalmore makes Cigar Malt, which I really enjoy with a mild to medium-bodied smoke.

Try a Mountain Dew with a shot of peach schnapps and a shot and a half of Grey Goose for something different. But I like just some Capt. or Bud Lime (especially on the course).

Aw hell, I read the title of the thread on the side margin and thought you were talking directly to me..."Drinks paired w/cigars, yo FATMAN, you alcoholic, I'm talking to you"..or something like that. Anyhow, any beer, 'specially Guinness, I like a semi sweet wine, (which is great w/a bowl of Latakia too), Scotch, Irish whiskey. Coffee 95% of the time works well w/a cigar, however I have had a gar that didnt pair well w/the 'jo' for me.

non alcoholic.....lessee......hummm...kidding, plain water for me.
