New Trinidad Habana Reserve

Just tried the NEW Trinidad Habana Reserve Siglo VI... I'd give it an 89 (Excellent) cigar. Well constructed, good flavor (although I'd let it rest another month or so for getting a true flavor rating - still had a little ammonia in it)... but not even a 1/4 inch into it it smoothed right out.

Also got the NEW H. Upmann Reserve Maduro... tried the Robusto... which I'd give an 86... same good construction, it needed to rest a bit more... I'd say about 2-3 months due to the ammonia... it was a bit heavier, but a good smoke.

If you've tried them... say what you think...

Tried the Upman and it was decent... good construction... alittle bit of amonia... and not a whole lottle flavor/complexity. Prob wont ever smoke it again... But for those that like a nice constant maduro go for it.

Didn't know my name sake had a new cigar out, guess I need to give that Trinidad a try. Will be hard to beat the 100 Anniversary.

Smoked it on Saturday. It had a pretty good taste to it and for the price I will smoke it again.
