I have a Xikar and I love it. You cant go wrong with anything they make. Best Customer service and warranty. I will be getting a Blue soon so I will be able to compare but I have a feeling that the Xikar will still be the best.

All I can say is I love my Xikar. Best gift my friend has ever given me. It's better for my occasional cigarette since it's more of a soft flame but their hard flame lighters are dang near unbeatable.

Just went and bought a xikar. It's just a single burner but it'll do for now. First thing I did was light it up side down and burnt the chit outta myself.

eeek. Good luck with the burns! They can be painful. (if I had a nickel for ever time I did that... I'd have about 25 cents.)

Xikar is hard to beat. I'm sure there are better lighters but I like the customer service that they provide.

I'm a Zippo collector, yet I'd have XiKar any day before the ZippoBlu. I'd rather get the Blazer Zippo insert (~$10) if ye like 'em clicking lighters. Besides, XiKar's got lifetime guaranty.

oh no, wish i would have warned you earlier. they are nasty. i only made it through two refills and then decided to ditch the blu. they look nice in pictures but feel horrible. the flint wheel feels incredibly dirty. every flick is nasty. the gas button is flimsy. avoid like gonorrhea! return it and get a xikar for a similar price and an unparalleled lifetime warranty. they have sent me new replacement torches countless times. don't doubt xikar.

I have a Xikar and a Blu. The Xikar I have is the first single torch they sold, the same as a Solo. I have sent it back once and it was replaced no questions asked. The new one worked great at first now its not wanting to light all that much. I always make sure I have a backup when I use it, but then again that's with every lighter.

The Blu at first I hated it! Very inconsistent when I first started using it and felt funny to use. But after refilled it 4 or 5 times it works great and I like it. As long as it has fluid and you get the hang of it, its lights everytime and has a large (tall) flame.

The next lighter I want to buy is the Xikar windproff soft flame lighter.
