no price increase here either.. He may have got a bad deal on a box and passing the price to you. it happened to me when I first ordered Acids, my price on those were very bad because I bought them barely under retails just so I could carry some quickly. I have it fixed now, but it sounds like he got a bad deal, and has to pass the price to you.

Hmm.. it does make sense, but since no one else is having the same experience that makes me think you are being duped, or maybe the owner is being duped.

Be thankful those of you that can get them in the $12-$15 range. The owner of one of the B&M's here says they are closer to $50-$60 each, and if you ever find any for around $15 then they are FAKES! oflmao:

Geez, small towns are fun....NOT!

He said when he called his sales rep he was told that because of the flooding at the farms in the D.R. last year and the loss of production/increase in demand they decided to raise the prices of their products. Has any one else seen this going on and are there any other manufactures going to do this with other in demand lines, i.e. Pepin, Padron, Etc.
Sounds like a 'fish story' to me. Check this link out if you really want Opus cigars at MSRP but understand to get this price you buy 10 other sticks at their pricing. So for you Opus nutts like me if you are in the market for cigars and want some Opus for cost, click this link.

Not just small towns. Here in California (Orange County to be exact) Opus X's are a minimum of $35. They may be good cigars, but they are not worth that amount. The only ones I smoke are gifted. There are too many other great cigars for a lot less money out there.
