Going out to the shop for coat #5 and another good cigar. I'll be inserting the curved Cedar inside the lid tonight. After this coat of Tung oil, I'll be switching to 3 special wax coats. This, when combined with the first 5 coats, will make it feel like silk. No other finish process I've ever come across does this. Then I light the fuse for the launch of this one. :huh_oh:

Birdseye maple is one of my favorite woods and I just happen to be smoking a RP vintage 1990 when I came across this. very nice

Can't wait to see the humi. You do great work, but it sounds like a lot of tedious labor. Sure to make someone a proud owner!
