Whaddya keep your cigars in? A humidor is an almost air tight enclosure, typically lined in Spanish Cedar because of its inherent ability to hold humidity at a specific % and the way it can enhance the quality of a cigar. some are lined in copper as well but not as popular. A properly maintained humidor can store cigars for years w/o any adverse effect on the cigars it contains and can actually improve the quality considerably. I happen to really enjoy building humis' I like that there are no boundries, I love the smell of the cedar and I can't get enough of the satisfaction I get from building them and giving them to the new owner. You might say it's my therapy that keeps me insane. If I went to a therapist, they'd lock me up and throw away the key.
