Is the humidor contest any trouble

If any of you feel the Humi contest is causing problems with any members new or old or effecting the meaning of bombing, let me know. I'm posting a poll to see if you all think I should cut it short and end it at the end of the month, or should I let it go until the end of next month. I set it up to go so long to give everyone time to bomb someone in the spirit of the holidays. I didn't know it would go crazy. I felt the time would help those that weren't ready or able to get involved would have extra time. In no way did I want to change the meaning of bombing. You're not going to hurt my feelings, so be honest. Thanks my BOTL & SOTL.

Everyone has their own way to sponsor a contest, this is just my way.

We all have a choice here, I don't feel obligated to bomb someone just because of some little contest to win an awesome humidor. Would I like to partake and win the humidor? Sure I would, but that's not feasible for me for a couple of reasons. 1) I don't have enough ammo and 2) the cost of shipping would kill me.

Bill, you spiced up this place and created quite the buzz by hosting this contest.
I love watching the bombs fly back and forth. Let's keep this party going.

That's the spirit!!! I'm with you. Building these makes me happy Just sharin the wealth. Materials are about the same price as a good box of cigars, the time spent is not wasted watching the boob toob. I already have about a ton or 2 of materials. It just makes sense.

I think my biggest concern is for new members. I don't want them to feel intimidated or to think their obligated to get involved. Just want it to be fun for everyone.

well... if you're so inclined, you could offer a single entry for the contest on request, so that folks who don't presently have the means to bomb could have a chance - in that case, it'd also be an idea to toss in a bonus entry for everyone who has participated to maintain the balance.

for folks like me, I'd rather you didn't end the contest early - some of us take longer to get a package to its destination than others

I believe letting it run to the end of November is the way to go so we'll leave it that way. It's been great to see every ones enthusiasm. I'm just making sure we all enjoy this type of contest and that it adds to the community. You've all been fantastic and I appreceiate it. So I guess at this point, Bombs away.
